Boss Fights
After successfully completing the lower section of a level, you will be faced with a boss battle, having to deal with the unique skills each boss possesses, learning how best to beat them.
The boss battle takes place in a closed arena with less room for flying around, making it harder to dodge, and more punishing if you get hit. You only get one attempt to beat the boss and if you are defeated you will have to clear the whole map again to enter the boss room.
At initial release we plan to have a minimum of five bosses, each with their own strengths and specific weaknesses. You will have to learn your way around their abilities and get better and dodging certain spells.
Rewards
To receive the full amount of rewards from a level, you will have to complete this battle. Most of the rarer loot will have a higher chance to drop upon completion. Dying before beating the boss doesn't mean you don't get any rewards, it simply means you might have missed out a Rare Loot Box and/or some of the token you could have been awarded.
